Classification: Asiatic Hybrid Lily (USDA Zones 3-10, lows to -40° F.)Stock # 1010 - 'Sun Valley' - Asiatic Lily Bulb Flower Description:Bred by Johan Mak of Scio, Oregon, ‘Sun Valley’ the first in his “valley” series of predominately pendant or down facing type Asiatic Hybrid Lily Bulbs being introduced by B & D Lilies for 2010. Apply named for the bright and sunny ski resort, these cheery yellow, wax-like blooms face out to slightly down and have just a few tiny speckles to add interest. The reverse side of the blooms are red striped and the petal tips curl back slightly making for a beautiful Asiatic for the courtyard. ‘Sun Valley’ has been selected as one of the Garden Clubs of Virginia competition varieties for 2011. 3 to 4 Feet. June flowering.
