First in Garden Lilies... Since 1978'Pearl Justien' - Asiatic Hybrid Lily
Lily Bulb Description
Flower Description: Our first viewing of 'Pearl Justien' brought back fond memories of the old Stone & Payne hybrid, 'Connecticut Yankee' from over a half century ago. Whereas 'Connecticut Yankee' was a bit more pendant in form, 'Pearl Justien' carries its beautifully recurved flowers in an outfacing to slightly pendant fashion. The rich pumpkin orange color is unique and in cool weather will sometimes carry a hint of red. As with 'Conn. Yankee' it is practically spotless, but in cooler areas, will produce more spots, the colder it is. For us, this is a nostalgia lily. Expect 3 to 4 Feet for height. Flowers in June. Unscented.
