'Patricia's Pride' - Asiatic Hybrid Lily Bulb
Lily Bulb Description
Unscented. 3+ Feet. June flowering. "Brushmark" lilies was a phrase that came out of the breeding work of the late Eddie McRae while working at the old Oregon Bulb Farms. The talk of the lily world back in the 70's, they seemed to loose popularity after a few years, as attention was diverted to the newly emerging 'Orienpet' lilies, but now they are back with even a stronger interest and demand. 'Patricia's Pride' would have won any contest hands down even back in the days where there were dozens of these type lilies to choose from.
This lovely lady has a neatly placed six-sided star of maroon color in each flower, with just a smattering of speckles surrounding the green nectary furrows. The base color is a neutral cream allowing for easy placement anywhere in the garden. We simply love this lily in our garden. 3 to 4 feet in height. June flowering. Non scented.
