'Divine (LA)' (Lilium)
Lily Bulb Description
Classification: Longiforum-Asiatic Hybrid (USDA Zones 5-10, colder climates w/winter mulch)(Stock #L-5003)
Not really a pure Asiatic, but rather a cross of Lilium longiflorum and pink Asiatics, this new cultivar has the "trumpet" flower shape of a traditional Easter Lily, but a stunning, deep rose-pink coloration that brightens up the garden. Best grown in areas where there is not a long period of severe "freeze-thaw" cycles with lots of rain. Frosts in the high twenties are not a problem. Plants emerge quickly after the ground warms; great for mountain gardens, as the plants flower more quickly than late season Orientals and so will mature in time for an early winter. If you plant in containers, choose Trailing Lobelia or other shallow rooted annuals to trail over the container edges. Be certain to protect potted lilies over winter, our guarantee is for garden-planted bulbs. 3 to 4 Feet. July.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this lily cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (14/16 cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 20 cm). Click
