Lily Bulb Description
Heavy scent. 3+ Feet. July flowering.The base color of this splendid Trumpet is ivory, which is highlighted with rose edges and petal reverses and gold accents in the center of each flower. All trumpet lilies tend to attract Hummingbirds, and 'Tropic Moon' is no exception here on the farm. Height averages around 3 to 4 Feet, however they will be taller in light shade, and also when the lily bulbs have settled into their new home for a year. July Flowering. Fragrant.
Trumpet lilies can be so mystical-looking, with large out to down facing large flowers that show up well in the garden. Plant behind shorter growing July blooming lilies or used as an accent plant, this lily has everything going for it�sturdy stem, large flowers and heavenly fragrance�sweet with a honey overtone. Best as a cut flower in a large space for those sensitive to heavy fragrances or try just a single bloom in a bud vase if the scent becomes overpowering after a few days. 'Tropic Moon' takes a full year to really settle in after being moved and usually only produces 1 or 2 flowers the first season.
