'Long Island' (Longiflorum-Oriental Hybrid)
Lily Bulb Description
Classification: Longiflorum-Oriental Hybrid Lily (USDA Zones 3-10, lows to -40° F.)A cross between the Easter Lily (L. longiflorum) and a oriental hybrid lily, these lightly scented blooms have a white base color that blends to a soft, delicate but color fast rose-pink star in the center of each of these heavily textured blooms. Lovely in light shade in the hotter climates, provide full sun on the coast or cooler growing areas. From the same breeding that produced 'Sea Treasure' and 'Sky Treasure' we felt that 'Long Island' was by far the superior plant in our garden trials. 3 to 4 Feet. July / August.
