Colors vary, depending on your soil and summer temperatures. Everything from dark red-violet to more purplish tones are possible, so its hard to predict a definite color in a specific location, but WOW, it is a strong grower. We have never personally seen the "royal purple" tones that some sites promote. 4 to 5 feet when established. Late July to Early August Flowering. Fragrant.
